Revisiting our 2017 Pledge

Last year, we asked our members to pledge to visit the club more often in 2017 than they did in 2016, and it seems to have worked as we had our most successful year to date. We want 2018 to be even better, so we’re going to ask the same of you again in 2018. We’d ask that each of our members make the following New Year’s Resolution: “I resolve to visit the club more often in 2018 than I did in 2017”. We’ve even made it easier for you to do by opening up on Saturday nights (every week at 7 PM). We understand that everyone is busy, with work or children, doing things around the house or other volunteer activities, but if you can make it, we’d like to see all of our members (even out-of-town members) at least once in 2018.

Secret Santa & 2017 Kid’s Christmas Party

A.O.H. Division 23 would like to thank all of our members who generously donated to our Secret Santa Fund. We would also like to thank all those (including members and their family members) who gave their time to help with the Kid’s Christmas Party. From buying and passing out gifts, to working the door, helping keep the kids occupied while they waited for their name to be called, to bartending the event, the Christmas Party would not be possible without our many volunteers.

Thank You to Everyone Who Helps Out at the Club

A.O.H. Division 23 would like to thank everyone who volunteers their time to help out at the club, whether you are a bingo caller, ticket seller, turkey shoot judge, part-time Sunday chef, you work a door at the parade, you help clean-up after a party or during the week, you take time to perform various maintenance or repair tasks around the club, etc. The list is too long to name everyone & every task, but you know who you are and your fellow Hibernians know who you are, and we appreciate everything you do. The club wouldn’t be here without the efforts of these volunteers, so when you see one, please thank them.

2018 Membership Dues
Dues for 2018 will remain at $25 per member. Checks can be mailed to the club or dropped off when the bar is open. Checks should be made payable to “A.O.H. Division 23”. Members whose dues are not paid by March 31, 2018 are considered delinquent.

There will also be a “Hat Contest”, so we encourage everyone that wants to participate, to wear their fanciest/craziest/whatever hat. We hope you and your friends will join us at the club for what will surely be a fun-filled event.
