Calendar of Events 2026

We’re open every Friday & Saturday at 7 PM, every Sunday at 1 PM, and have different events scheduled throughout the year, to spice things up a little.

October Bar Bingo & LAOH Member’s Meeting will be held on Friday, October 9, 2026

C.A.N. Crawl ‘26 Lawrenceville Bar Crawl starting from the VFW and wrapping up at the A.O.H., with numerous stops encouraged in between, will be held on Saturday, October 10, with all proceeds being set to be donated to institutions seeking a cure and enhanced treatments for Achalasia.  Details are available at: https://cureachalasianow.org/we-c-a-n-crawl

Junior LAOH Meeting will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2026

Lawrenceville Ryder Cup Golf Outing between the A.O.H. and the Sixth Ward Club will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026.  Sign-up sheets will be available at the club for your twosome.  If you have any questions, please email them to aohdiv_23@yahoo.com.

Baguettes, Blitzes & Black ’n Gold the Steelers-Saints game live from Paris, France, will be played at 9:30 AM on October 25, and the club will be open for breakfast and the game!

Annual Turkey Shoot will be held on Friday, November 20 at 7 PM.  You don’t need to be an expert marksman to win, and you’re virtually guaranteed to have fun if you attend, so really, you can’t lose!  Come kickoff the Holiday Season with us, at what is one of our most popular annual events.  Please note that this is an adults only event.

“Thanksgiving Eve” celebration will, oddly enough, take place the day before Thanksgiving, on Wednesday, November 25 at 7 PM.  Thanksgiving chefs and non-chefs alike are welcome to get together at the A.O.H. before celebrating Thanksgiving.  

November Trivia Night will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2026, and will feature all Christmas-themes questions

Kid’s Christmas Party will be held on Saturday, December 5 at Noon.

Irish New Year will be held on Tuesday, December 31.  2027 arrives in Ireland 5 hours earlier than it does in Pittsburgh.  We will be opening early to celebrate the Irish New Year.

March 2027 will not have a Trivia Night

The (2027) Annual A.O.H. / L.A.O.H. Division 23 Memorial Mass is TENTATIVELY scheduled to be held on Thursday, March 4, 2027, at 6:00 PM, at St. Raphael’s Church (1106 Chislett Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15206).  

Pittsburgh’s Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade (2027) will begin at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 13.  All marchers should be in formation by 9:45 AM. We will once again be lining up on Liberty Avenue in the Strip District, somewhere between 16th & 21st Streets.  Proper dress (no jeans or tennis shoes) is required for all those marching in the parade with A.O.H. Division 23.   

2027 St. Patrick’s Day Parade Celebration at Division 23 will be held from Noon-8 PM on Saturday, March 13, on the day of the Parade.  Members, their families and friends are invited to celebrate with us. There will be a cover charge for all adults.

St. Patrick’s Day 2027 will be celebrated at Division 23, as usual, on Wednesday, March 17.  Doors will open at 2:00 PM. Members and their families are invited to celebrate the holiday, with live Irish music by Lawrenceville’s own Tim & John between 5 & 9 PM.  Please join us for what is always a great day.

The club will be closed on Sunday, March 28, 2027, in honor of the Easter holiday, re-opening Friday, April 2, 2027

2027’s Derby Day at Division 23 will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2027.  Don your best (or preferably, most outrageous) hats and join us at the club for our Annual Kentucky Derby Party.  The Kentucky Derby starts at approximately 6:30 PM, and the club will open at 5:00 PM.

62nd Annual Irish Open Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday, June 26 at 8:00 AM at Saxon Golf Course (839 Ekastown Road, Sarver, PA 16055).  Cost of event will be announced as we get closer to the event date, but as always, it will include drinks & food at the course, and dinner back at the club afterwards.

The club will be closed on July 3 & July 4, 2027, in honor of Independence Day, re-opening on Friday, July 9, 2027.

2027 Cookout at the Club A.O.H. Division 23’s member’s appreciation cookout will be held tomorrow, Saturday, September 4, 2027.  The event will “kickoff” at Noon.  Food will be served beginning around 4-5 PM. Please note that this is an event for our members, their family members & invited guests.
