Maggie Donaldson was crowned Miss Smiling Irish Eyes of Pittsburgh in 2013 and was the queen of the St. Patrick’s Day parade. Maggie went on to compete in the Maiden of the Mournes pageant in Warrenpoint, Ireland.

Qualified Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
Be a single woman, of Irish birth or descent, currently residing in the Pittsburgh area;
Be between the ages of 17 and 22 years;
Exhibit outstanding representation of the Irish Community of Pittsburgh, by demonstrating excellent moral character, ethical ideals, and poise;
The winner will actively promote her pride in her Irish heritage and ancestry, and show a dedicated involvement to local civic and charitable organizations.
If selected, winner must be prepared to give short interviews to local television, radio, and newspaper outlets upon request, and must be available to participate in various festivities held the week of March 8, 2019 through and including the St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 16, 2019.
